Probably carries a fake passport around to show people his name is Carl, a non-famous non-soccer playing person. Yes, let’s all give a warm welcome to Carl.

If Brazilians don’t need a passport to enter Paraguay, how do you prove you are Brazilian?

I once took a bus from Brazil to Paraguay and they didn’t check any IDs, let alone a passport. But clearly he wasn’t traveling by bus.

Brazilians need passport but not visa to travel to Paraguay. And the full context for people who are interested,
“Ronaldinho and his brother were trying to visit Paraguay to promote a book and participate in a campaign for underprivileged children. At that time, their Brazilian passports were confiscated by Brazil government as he was facing issues due to unpaid taxes and fines for illegally building on a Brazilian nature reserve. So, he and his brother decided to travel to Paraguay on an illegal passport which they received from his friend, a businessman Wilmondes. Wilmondes was also arrested for supplying fake passport I guess.”

He removed all his stat points and dumped them into soccer and soccer adjacent stats.

Reminds me if the time Wesley Snipes used a fake passport to exit South Africa.
But was a fake South African passport with his actual name on it. Wesley Trent Snipes place of birth USA.
Fun fact. When a Brazilian wants to say something is fake, they jokingly say it’s from Paraguay

Many Brazilian players of that era came from very poor and underprivileged backgrounds and had limited access to education, partly because of poverty and partly because they were focused on playing football. Ronaldinho left school at 14. He was very smart on the pitch, not as much off it.

He’s got a fame of being everywhere. Maybe he wanted to see what life was like on the inside. Haha.

It’s even dumber…
He only needed any form of Brazilian ID, but apparently didn’t have one, so someone made him a Paraguayan ID card that stated he was paraguayan.
